On Friday, February 8th we celebrated Founders Day, by honoring Mother Pia and the Mission San Jose Dominicans Sisters who established Our Lady of Guadalupe School in 1964. Students and Staff wore black and white, the same colors as the sisters’ habits. . .
During Catholic Schools Week, one day was devoted to celebrating the various cultures that are represented by our diverse student body and staff. On this day, many students wore clothing from their native culture and some students brought food to share that originated from the country of their ancestors. . .
Catholic Schools week was filled with celebrations, including Staff Appreciation Day. OLG School staff was treated to an amazing luncheon, prepared by school parents. The staff room was transformed into a dining room where we all enjoyed the wonderful display of entrees, salads and desserts. Cheers to our parents! .
