Religion: Practice the “Hail Mary”. We will be doing the liturgy on 12/8/10 for the Immaculate Conception honoring our Blessed Mother. Students must know how to recite this prayer by 9/30/10.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,

Language Arts:
Read: 20 minutes nightly. Do book report: written and oral.
Book bags are being sent home today. Please return them with the homework on 9/10. Make sure all books are in the bag. In the bag you will find a book report form. Use this form to do the required book report. Make sure you child can do this report orally. They will present it to the class on Friday.
Vocabulary: Do worksheets 42-45.

Math: Do worksheets 1-8. Page 29 is optional. Page 29 is not required, but a challenge.

Science: Find a rock or boulder. What kind of is it? Circle one:
Igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic

Social Studies: Look for a transportation truck. How many wheels does it have? Where do you think it came from? Where do you think it’s going?
