Hi! My name is Jeni Estacio and I am thrilled to be teaching 4th and 5th grade this year at OLG! I have been a part of the OLG community for 16 years since both of my children were students here. My daughter Elena is now 21 and is a medical assistant at a women's clinic in South San Jose and my son Brandon, 18 just graduated from Irvington High School and is enrolled in the culinary program at Mission College and has dreams of becoming a professional chef some day (in the meantime, you can find him working at In-n-Out in Milpitas!) I loved the small community and how we really were all like family. Now I feel blessed to be a part of your child's journey here at OLG.
In our classroom, we individualize the instruction to meet the needs of the students and provide a flexible and supportive learning environment that will keep the kids challenged and allow them to be successful. This year's focus will be on the writing process, California and American history, and earth system's in science, just to name a few!
Our school theme this year is "Behold, I make all things new." This theme perfectly represents the new year, new friends, new opportunities, and new challenges to remind us that God is always with us and with Him, all things are possible. I'm so excited to be on this journey with you and your children!
